Parancistrus aurantiacus, L056

Post by Thomas Tofft »

Hey there.

I have two species of L 56. Two small ones. They are about 4 - 5 cm. My goal is to make a pair of them. Make them breed. At the size they are now, I can´t tell if they are male or female. They have to grow a bit larger. Anyway, I need information about them. I have searched the internet, but came up with almost nothing. Only pictures an maximum size etc. etc. etc. This I already know. I also know how to sex them. I want to know if they have any special needs for food, water, breeding and so on. I would be very greatful to recieve information, links of this L 56.

Here is an old thread on this fish. Not much information there, but you might want to try asking the posters who have kept them for info.
