If you had to classify this as something...
...other than just a "bristlenose", what would you call it???
I just received Kathy Jenkin's book the other day, and between that and the "cat-alog" I'm starting to think it's a "gold marble"...it's definitely different than some of my other fish that are more of a chocolate brown color...the picture:

Thanks for the link...I can agree with that..
Most of my plecos were bought from LFS where they don't classify anything with L-numbers, and just call them "bristlenose pleco"...
Any idea what this one is?? please let me know if you require a better picture/different angle..

Unfortunately, that's one bristlenose which cannot be pinned down with a definite name. Look under Ancistrus sp. (3) in the Cat-eLog.
