L263 or L264

Post by francesco »

hallo guys
Just wondering if those plecos are L263 or L264.
I bought them as 264 wild and they are 12-14 cm. But I'm not sure 100%.
I've seen 263 grow up to 25cm.
There is the white spot on the caudal but maybe few black spots compared with "typical" 264?
The colour also maybe is not so dark gray?
Thanks for the replies.

These are easier to tell apart in the aquarium, one is browish and the other is greyish. Just on the two photos above it looks like one of each.

Well in the aquarium are darker. I would say gray deep.
