i purchased 5 oto's to clean my tank, added them to my beta male, 8 neon tetras, and 2 giant armoured shrimp, later added 1 glass catfish (which i learn eat small fish and crustaceans), and 2 female balloon mollies w/ 1 male. my first tank ever, it has been running for 2 month's now.
And i have captured and seperated 25 babies, failed to catch so many i don't know how many are in there now. but captured 25, i assume them to be oto's because they attach to things and other larger fish, i seperated them into a bucket of the water from tank. the fish vary in colour though; some clear i think, and some darker... thanks for reading, if you have a good opinion on what i have or have not done wrong then feel free to share, thank you again. 65 litre tank 50cmx30cm.
should i be astounded? baby oto's?!?

For a first tank and a community setup. I say congratulations. Pictures would be cool. As far as your setup goes, if it isn't broke..... I would get the babies into a different tank and change water often. for fry food I would suggest Zucchini or if you have any scrape the green algae from the lid into the fry container. I cannot stress the importance of fresh water, preferably from the adult tank.

Congratulations
I left my Oto fry in the main tank as there is plenty of algae for them, they also love zucchini & are all over it when it's put in.
