The Amazon: Below Water

Post by Silurus »

For those of you who are not yet aware, this is a recently-published coffee-table book by Oliver Lucanus (available in English and German editions) featuring plenty of underwater photography. More info available here.

The book is available for €72 (inclusive of 7% EU VAT - it's €67 for non-EU customers) + shipping from Panta Rhei.

From February 10, it's available directly from Oliver (for North American customers) for $99 + shipping.

Here is some idea of what you'll be getting:

I ordered my copies from Panta Rhei and the experience was less than pleasant. I was first given the wrong tracking number, then the order took longer than usual to fulfill, and finally only one of the three copies I ordered was delivered (and in a damaged condition at that — you can see the damaged lower right corner of the book in the first photo). A replacement order has been shipped out to me, but the whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
