Post by abby »

i saw one of these at the petstore, but they couldn't answer me when i asked how big it would grow. i've found information on "chocolate pl*co" but no the albino chocolate one. are they different? the one at the petstore was light brown and kinda had spots on it's 'nose'. thanks!

The fish sold as chocolate albino plecos are actually (partially?) albinistic forms of Liposarcus pardalis, which gets pretty big (about 16" or so).

good thing i didn't buy it. well, i may buy it, but only if i can make living arrangements for it. the stupid petstore people told me it would only get about 6 inches.... of course, they'll say anything to make a buck!
