need help I'm stumped.

Post by Freakdaddy »

Hi all,
a friend of mine recently gave this fish he'd bought as a Snowball Plec I.E. Hypancistrus Inspector. To my eyes he's the wrong shape I've been through my Aqualog and still cant find an exact match for it.
P.s I have an Inspector(I.Ded here a couple of years ago) in another tank and its nothing like it other than black and spotty.
Its around 6" TL and very active unlike the other which sits in its cave permanently

Here's the other fish..

He seems to have stopped growing at around 4-5" TL.

Any input would be much appreciated guys

Thanks,Jos.
