Injured narinas in Panaque?

I took this picture of this Panaque at a LFS... are his narinas OK or are injured? if the answer is yes, what's the cause and what the cure? thanks:

Hi.. these are its narinas.. don't worry...they aren't injured..but maybe a small wound due to stress

and It's very common in all loricarids.
