Hypostomus sp.

Post by Evest »

Hello everyone, I have 2 Plecos that were purchased as "Commons", I've had the largest for around 2 years, and my smaller one for about a year. I have only been able to find a match with one of the Hypostomus sp. located in the catelog, below are 2 images of the largest one, can anybody ID it?

Edit: Changed to URLs, picture was a tad large.

Other than being certain of the genus (Hypostomus), it's really difficult to identify these things accurately at the species level.
