Will Bristlenose go up to take food?

Post by squid »

I just tried diy Gel food for my plecos.
i'd consider it a success. problem is it floats :) i think i messed up using blender to blend in the gelatin :)

my fries go up to eat the diy gel food:)
but wondering if adults will do the same?

Hi squid,

I've had adult plecos come to the surface for foods, but it's certainly not their routine. If I were you, I'd use up this batch and try to make a sinking gel next time.

Good luck, Eric
