I want to know what a great beginner catfish is that gets along well with tetras and plecos.
Have ant ideas?
I have a 29 gallon with plaants and wood thinking about getting more plants
What are you guys/gals suggestions for a great beginner catfish?
A fish I see sometimes and comes from south america

there are so many to suggest, so i'll ask for some guidance - what do you want from the cats? Something fairly active & diurnal? Something that's happy as an individual or a small shoal of something? Would you be happy with a fish you might not see a lot of?

I was gonna suggest a few or or maybe a cory species like . it would help to know temperature, pH etc
