He was guarding eggs when I got him so the chap gave me them as well for free which was nice. They hatched, swam and hid under the rocks, then vanished the next day. Guppies will eat anything they can get in their greedy gobs, even their own fry. I will try water changes, any advice on this? Amount/...

How do you sex plecos??

Basically what the title says... ive only got the one atm, i believe its a bristlenose but has very short bristles, anyway i would love to have a mating couple. I just feel so sorry for it, i mean to pass on your genes is only normal right? if you get what i mean. Anyway im hoping to get some advice...

Well i nipped into pets at home today they only stock the delta therm ones. I think it was a 200w one i needed, cant get it till next week tho. Anyone used that brand ive heard goid and bad things about them...

Just moved house and new house is colder, my old one kept the tank at around 30°C so never needed a heater, but now im lucky to get it to 24°C. My tank is approx 123ltrs. I need to get a heater. Was wonderung if anyone can recomend one? Tia x

Hmm... no, not really, "jamesfish''posted about reclaiming a 2ft he posted some pics that are like him of his fry, ive asked him what they are, my boy just doesnt stay szill long enough to get a photo lol x

…So just thought ide do a quick search whilst on here…he doesnt look anything like a butterfly…i will have to get some pictures next time he comes out… swims/or rather sucks and.shuffles along the side too fast… :-\

Ah thankwmyou very much looks like a parva, which is great because they are a bit easier to maintain and aren't overly fussy about how or where they're grown x

I know technically It's not fish related but didn't know where else to post this, my neighbour called it an apple plant but I can't find it anywhere so I'm guessing he's got it wrong x
