Etymology	Greek, brachys, eia = short + Greek, platys = flat + Greek, stoma = mouth.
Species Information
Size	3600mm or 141.7" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification	Absence of membrane connecting the two pairs of nares identifies this species from all congeners except B. vaillantii. B. vaillantii has much longer adipose fin than this species.
Habitat Information
