I'm looking for a catfish suitable to to kept with a sailfin pleco and an oscar in a 135g tank. So for my leading candidate is a pictus catfish, although I'm a little worried it'll be too small (only seen pimelodus pictus at the lfs) and get picked on by the oscar. I think I'd like to find one that'd get between 10" - 16" or so. Suggestions ? ...
Thanks,
Jon

Suggestions for suitable catfish ...
My wife likes cats.
I like catfish.
I like catfish.
hello,
Have you looked into the Pimelodus Ornatus (flag tail)? They are nice pims that grow to about 12". I almost bought one at my LFS, but I really don't have room for him in either one of my tanks.
Beware, some pims get extremely big. Just make sure you get one thats suitable for your tank. 135 gallons is pretty big, so you shouldn't have trouble finding the right catfish.
