Can you tell me what specifically what link you are using from which page that results in this problem?

Thanks,

First I try the "icosa" link in the navigation-bar above: this gives a scrolldown menu; I pick out "articles" (btw "new and rare" or "German catfish-scene" etc give the same result).
clicking this gives me: "error 404" file not found.
without clicking anything iit changes back into the page seen as
http://www.planetcatfish.com/core/index.htm
except now I have TWO navigationbars stacked on top of each other.

clicking on 'icosa' in the center-right of the screen (3rd column; 2nd from top) or on the black-and-white arrow-button in that same square (the one with "Focusing on the catfishes of this region, Ingo's Catfish of South America features a huge article on breeding L-numbers"-text in it), results in the same.
first the "error 404" message; then I get directed back to the mainpage and a second nav bar is shown.

If I repeat this I can get at least 8 (!) navigation-bars, and an empty one; after wich the page crashes and a blank screen shows with "done" (or "free menu applets at http://www.apy.com") in the lower left corner.....

My browser is Firefox 0.8 (1.0 has way too many glitches and bugs yet) by Mozilla, but it has worked perfectly until now.

I get the same thing in Safari. Must be a database thing.

Error 404 on "last picture" on Cat-eLog entries.

Post by MatsP »

I noticed that all the new Catelog entries seems to have problems showing the final of the pictures, and shows a Error 404 page when going to the last picture in the list. (Doesn't matter if you go "next" or click on the last one directly).

I'm not sure if this is directly or indirectly related to the original problem, but it seems to only happen on the 4 latest updates (after 14 Oct).

OK, the icosa thing was a few bad links which are now fixed.

The images in the catelog was an upload problem and that is now resolved.

The cat-elog problem IS a database bug and not to do with uploading as originally thought. It's been caused because I moved the whole shooting match onto my laptop so I could travel and work on the site. I'll look into it further when I have time (hopefully today).
