New 300ltr set-up

Post by batho »

I am looking to setup a 300ltr Juwel tank.

I want to keep 5 discus (purchased at 2") and some small L No's.

I have an L205 Peckoltia (3"), LDA33 (2.5"), Raphael Talking Catfish (3") and 3 Schwartz Corys.

How many more small L No's could i add to such a setup when established?

300 L would be approx. 80 gallons. How much filtration/turnover is occuring? I think you could put quite a few in, but the high temps might pose a problem.

3 times turnover through Juwel filter plus another small filter doing 2x turnover.

I currently keep Pl*co's at 28C.

Do Discus need higher?
