my fish got bit on gill cover can i use salt? he is about 1 1/2 inches help please

Is it healing fine...how is it...if its ok then leave it heal on its own. Also instead of salt you can pick up a product called melafix and use that. Melafix will help it heal faster.

Melafix will work fine on a red tail. He should make a good recovery. I bet revenge will be on the cards when he is bigger.
