12" Pleco, What is it?

My freind gave me his 55 gallon aquarium with this pleco and some other fish, JD, birch, cons. I think this pleco is too big for the tank. Should he get any bigger? What should I feed him?

I currently feed krill, blood worms, mysis, brine, squid, and green marine algae, they dont seem to like pellets however. I have had them for only about 3 days now...

Liposarcus pardalis


It will grow bigger, though not much more.
