Lively Catfish

Post by step »

Hi,
Im new to catfish and have a new aquarium that i wiant to stock. the tank is about 70 litres in volume. So far i have a couple of upside down catfish of about 2inches and 2 talking catfish ofabout 1.5 inches. I am looking to have a couple more, possibly 3, can anyone reccomend a species of catfish which is a bit more active and lively, preferably with nice colouring that will get on fine with the others already mentioned.

Cheers

A group of Corys, your choice, would be a lively addition to your tank. C. adolfoi, duplicareus or sterbai are attractive species. I do not know what is available in your area.

is a very active small catfish, best kept in a shoal of 3 or more. It is predatory towards very small fish (e.g. neons).
