Has anyone heard of a Parrabee (sp?) cat? We picked one up on Saturday, but can't find any info online anywhere? :?

Can you describe what it looks like, if not post a picture?

Search the site for Microglanis; I think the name is a bastardization of parahybae, although this species has been moved into Pseudopimelodus (I think). Most hobby books and LFS' still use this name for several South American Bumblebee Cats.

That's what sprang to mind with me also. Please try to describe your fish.
Incidentally, it's probably better not to purchase an unknown Catfish without finding out a bit more first. There is a risk of ending up with something that will outgrow all but the very largest home aquarium and nowhere for it to go.
