Pleco seems to have blue eyes in the light with a range fins pattern in color with some reflective gold. Bought at lfs was told it’s on sale got it for 75$

As for your new fish, I believe it is
Hypostomus soniae
. If it's not that, it's a closely related species of Hypostomus.
