Hello from Mexico City

Hello to all, i am from Mexico City.

Now planning in to get a small number of fishes belonging to the Genus: Otocinclus

The seller says that their individuals belongs to the species: affinis
... but i shall be sure about their true ID until i can get them in my owning, and after of your amiable help for to ID them very well.

Please can you help me to find your favourites posts to the Genus: Otocinclus in this so fascinating forum?

Welcome to PlanetCatfish!

is a nice genus of loricariids. However they are difficult to identify to species without having good pictures of healthy fish that show good colors and have their fins spread in the photos. Have you gotten any fish yet? Can you please share photos if you do? If you have not gotten any fish yet, please ask your suppliers for some photos and we will try to help you identify them.

Hello bekateen, thanks for your reply and for your welcome.

These are the two different 20 liters tanks each, where i am keeping 5 Dwarf Crayfishes (3 individuals within one tank and 2 individuals within the another tank) from the Genus: Cambarellus ... since the middle of the month of May 2022.
... but i am not sure about to what species they belongs specifly. They are natives from Mexico country.
