Hello,
I continue the identification posts with, this time, 20 synodontis. The previous owner bought them as S. njassae. I have some doubts for some who have much smaller dots and for another who has very few dots (S. nigrita?). They are about 3 years old and measure between 7 and 15 cm. I also post a photo of the ventral part for each individual in order to sex them (if possible of course). As they are very vivid, I made videos hoping that the quality would be good enough.

Re: ID of twenty Synodontis
Thanks that's what I was afraid of. So is it possible for them to reproduce? I don't want to release hybrids so I will have to separate the sexes if they are able to reproduce.

Yes they can reproduce but you don't have to worry about this happening in an average aquarium.
