Something funny with wishlist reporting?

Hi Jools,

Trivial glitch, I suspect: Today I noticed that many members are reported to have 1817 species in their wish lists. I presume this is a glitch, perhaps a maximum value. The fact that it might be a maximum is not what's eye-catching, but rather that so many people, many of them not otherwise active recently on PCF, have this value. Is it a substitute number for people with zero wishes?

Cheers, Eric

Long story, but in short this will correct itself over the next few days. I propose to leave this thread open for a few days to come back and check the page.

I had not reset a counter which just built up over time after an upgrade to some of the internal platform that enables the site.

They've now all reset and so as google (or another search engine) indexes each species page, it will also then index the wishes for that species which will in turn update the counters.

In the meantime, if a human visits those pages, the "total wishes" counter / total will update ahead of a robot going across the whole site.
