I bought this guy (or girl) as a leopard pleco, but none of the pictures look like him/her. Was hoping to get some help, I did my best to get good pictures but not sure how good they will be for identification. Thanks for any help you can provide. Oh, and in the pictures the lighter color is actually like a tan, not orange like it looks in the pictures. And definitely not nocturnal as it comes out in the light as well, not like my clown pleco that I never see. Thanks again.
I think you have to take a better pic of him, little closer and more light.
If it's difficult to take a picture in your tank, catch him and hold him in your hand and ask some one to take the pic for you.
I will have to try and get a better picture by catching him/her then. I just didn't want to scare it by trying to catch it because it comes to one corner of the tank for me when we feed the fish. I just don't want to make it afraid of me, but I will try and catch it.
Hi!
Debold: with such pics, it can be a Panaque, a Peckoltia or an Hypancistrus...
If you could make a pic of the mouth and especially one that shows well the teeth... that would be really helpful to determine the genus...
Cheers

Took more pictures but don't think they are much better, I think my camera just isn't good. I understand that I probably won't be able to get a definitive answer on what he/she is. Thank you all for your help though.
Hi,
Well thanks for your help. Not sure what I did wrong with the pictures, I can see them in the post. I doubt they would be much help anyway, the one of the mouth just looks blurry. Guess I just need a better camera or something.
HI!
Ok I can see them!!
A bit difficult to tell from here.
Any chance to make a more visible one???
Or describe the teeth, how are they?
Spoon shaped?
Forkes shaped?
or rake shaped?
Cheers
Yann
