Is this 205 , 015 , 202 or 278
Hi all,
It's been a while since i posted, very busy with all my tanks and even getting more new tanks.
I just have a question about these fish i had delivered today. It was a private sale from another state and they were delivered to me.
I bought them as L015 candy stripe's, But as soon as i saw 4 of them they looked like L205's to me. That is even better as 205 are hard to find in australia.
But then the rest of them 28 in total ranging in sizes 6 to 10cm have me unsure.
There is some that look like L015, but some look similar to my L202's and a friend said possibly L278.
I will add a few photos but they aren't the best pics i have at this stage.
I let them settle in after the flight and when i can get more and better pics i will add them to this message.
Oh also they said there is some wild caught ones in the adults (i bought 9 adults and 4 look like 205). Once i received them i messaged the seller and asked if the ones that look different are the wild caught L015, they said yes. But i think this is not true as they look like 205.
Any help or opinions would be great.
First pic - L205 ??
Second pic - L015 ??
Third pic - L015 ??
Thanks Macrae

Re: Is this 205 , 015 , 202 or 278
Hi,
I now have some better photos of these fish.
Am i right in thinking the 1st fish is a L015
And the 2nd is L250
Can anyone please help as i bought all as L015 and they were posted to me. The seller has ripped me off and been very untruthful.

Re: Is this 205 , 015 , 202 or 278
There was also some of these, i'm very unsure about these.
Because of the different adults the 16 smaller ones that also came with adults have many defects. Would this be due to crossbreeding.
I would love to know what they are and if this is the cause.
I will be separating to insure this doesn't happen again.
Also very angry that the seller ripped me off and sent such poor quality fish. Some had no fins, kinked tails and growths all are deformities.
Please please any info would be good.
Thanks Macrae

I'd lean towards and with the spotted head. Not sure about the last one, it reminds me of but it's too high bodied.

Thanks Jools for the input, yes it a mystery the last one.
Do you think any of the 4 species i mentioned can cross breed.
Thanks Macrae

These were some of the 16 deformed juvies and sub adults that came with the adults.
Some look like they have traits from 2 adults in one fish.
Very sad to see fish this deformed. But of coarse sad that i was sent these for good money.
