Pseudohemiodon?
Hello,
recently i have three fishes that I bought as pseudohemiodon species.
But after looking on the internet I'm still not sure what kind of fish I have.
I hope you can help me with the right ID.
The picture in the bucket is before when I bought them.
On the picture where the fish are in the bucket you can see that one fish looks more slim.
Thank you already,
Rens

Probably which, as it says on this site, is an Amazonas species and so that includes Peru.

Re: Pseudohemiodon?
No problem, the pointers on the map show the mid point of a lake, river or drainage system or the type locality. So mapping it to a country doesn't often work. Hope that makes sense,
Cheers,

Re: Pseudohemiodon?
Yes, but it's more evident in the lower lips of the male which are enlarged.
