How do you pronounce Odontodes in English ?

O don toads
O dont odes

Personally, I'd go with your second choice, o-dont-odes, because the word is a reference to tooth-like structures in the skin, and the syllable "dont" means "teeth." I've never seen the word broken down by a dictionary into its syllables, so that's just my opinion.

I have heard "O don toads" used mostly by aquarists and a few scientists use "oh don toe days" or kind of like that.
