first of all, hello to all of you guys, greetings from Croatia! ;)

they did it, but male kicked eggs out again. you can see my solution in the picture below:
Image
I hoped that fungus won't "catch" them, they are in the same aquarium where water is not so soft, unfortunately...

but... fungus did it again, I lost most of eggs, but there were 14 wrigglers left.
hope to raise them successfully, hard part is beginning. :D

now there are 11 of them, looking pretty healthy

and one pic from few moments ago, they started to changing color:

advice, suggestions about feeding and keeping them alive in next stage(s) are always welcome! ;)

Do not feed them until they have absorbed their yolk sac completely. Then just feed them what you were feeding the parents. They are pretty hardy, as long as the water is clean. Good luck and congratulations!

how often and how much water changing do you recommend?

they are now in 11G aquarium with over sized sponge air filter, more than 2 months cycled, with 6 alder cones and i peace of wood. bare bottom tank.

I have RO, and mix it with tap water, ratio 3:1 for RO because my tap water KH is around 16.

although, I have a little trouble with them (or I THINK I have a trouble) because they want to eat just crushed spirulina, no vegetables, nothing.

I offer them fresh zucchini every night, because they are just as their parents, mostly active when light is turned off.

should I wait or should I try to give them some "meat"?
they absorbed their yolk sacs about a week ago.

Try rubbing the zucchini with the spirulina. As they eat the spirulina they might discover that the zucchini is also food.

I saw two of them attached to zucchini last night so I presume they started to look at it as a food! ;)

thank you, still struggling with feeding but they are actually growing with tropical vegetable powder and crushed spirulina wafers only.

I bought JBL NovoPleco for them today, will see if they maybe want that...

When I had a spawn some years ago I found the fry went for live baby brine shrimp as a first food in a bare bottom tank. I now have a new group that I hope will spawn soon.

Sounds like you really know what you are doing, just need some encouragement from your fellow breeders to give you confidence. Raising any catfish takes practice, I think most of us agree with that. Keep up the good work they are good looking fish.
