This is not a Leopard Frog Pleco !!!

Hi, I was sold this as a Leopard Frog Pleco L134, it was only 2cm when bought, I commented on it being more black but was assured of what it was. It's now grown to around 5 cm, this is the 1st time it's come out of hiding in 2 months & clearly isn't a Leopard Frog. It looks suspiciously like a Clown Pleco. Can anyone please confirm. Thanks.

Looks like a clown pleco to me... Around here, L134 go for $50+... clowns can be had for less than $10 - hope you weren't robbed too bad. @-)

That's good to know. Still not the fish the OP was hoping for -

Thanks for all your replies. I now know what to feed him & I don't feel so ripped off, they look to be about the same price as L134. Just need to find him some mates now. I hope he's happy in with the 4 L134's for now. :d

I guess it depends on where you are. L129 are about half the price of L134 around here.
But there are a lot more Hypancistrus breeders in my area than there are Peckoltia breeders.
