A good friend of mine used to catch a bullhead-type fish they called "rock-rollers" when they were kids. This was on the Kankakee River in Indiana, south of Chicago.
He said it was a small bullhead with red triangular spots on the top of its head. I did not see anything like that in the Ameiurus family. Does anyone know what that may be?
