Welcome to the Planet. Have a look at Tachysurus fulvidraco http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/spe ... ies_id=457.

They are kept in outdoor ponds in CA and can handle some cold, as the caresheet states down to ~60 F.

Just curious, what are the dimensions of your tank and do you have any photos? Would love to see it!

How do I post a pic?
The tank is 14 feet long 4.5 feet deep and 4.5 front to back
I set it up for African cichlids but it was too crazy trying to feed them correctly and stuff but anyway I have aragonite sand in there :/ which is making the ph high but I do have driftwood counteracting it it is heavily decorated with rock and wood but I do have a crap to of open water. I'm thinking of adding a heater befor this next winter but I still need an active fish

When you hit "Reply" there is a tab underneath the box called "Upload attachments". You can do 3 per each post. There may be a file size restriction too.

Nice. Is that private or at some LFS? I don't see any fish in it :)

Perhaps, they are still adjusting. They should be the happiest pictus in the world in such a tank, if the water is right for them.
