Post by lostris »

Hello everyone,

I'm new in here. As new as my new tank, i set it up last Sunday, and in it i placed a piece of boogwood, which i had washed with a toothbrush , very hot water, and left to soak for 3 days. Firstly the wood was still floating so i had to place a couple of stones to keep it in place, and secondly a white fluffy thing is growing on it, motly on the edge were it was cut. What should i do pls :?:

I would continue soaking the wood for at least two weeks. it should be waterlogged and heavy enough to sink by then. The white fluffy stuff is fungus and you can read this thread to find out how to get rid of it.
