Which pseudacanthicus?
I guess L25 but am not sure. Lenght 15-16cm. Fish lived at the lfs for at least 4-5 years and sold it as L25.

Re: Which pseudacanthicus?
Thanks Daniel, I will return it tomorrow as I paid a price like it was an L25.

Hi,
it is a truely beatiful specimen, and P. leopardus are expensive as well. May I ask how much you paid?
And obviously you liked it even with a higher price, so is it that important which species it is? Except you are looking for a breeding group, than I´d understand.

Re: Which pseudacanthicus?
Daniel, I paid 200 euro for it. I do like the fish but I think the price I paid is to high.
Is P.Leopardus the same as L600?
My idea was to put a couple of L25's together with a group of L95's in a nice big tank.

Re: Which pseudacanthicus?
i don't think that's a good idea
the pseudacanthicus species are pound for pound among the most agressive pleco's around
the pseudorinelepis are quite the opposite, they are very mellow
theyre likely to be terrorized and it can even lead to dead L095's, which is very likely, even if you got a tank in the 3+ metre range.

Re: Which pseudacanthicus?
Ok, I didn't think that the L25's would really bother the L95, but I could be wrong here.
The L95 is indeed very friendly/mellow to other plecs. I have one from 12"+ and he/she is very nice.

Hi,
yes P. leopardus is the same as L 600.
On the other thing I agree with sid.

Re: Which pseudacanthicus?
Today I returned the L600 and got my money back, first the guy from the shop disagreed with me and said that it was a L25. I showed him a picture of a Leopardus and then he agreed with me.
