Surprise find

Post by minkweir »

So today I did my water change, filter rinse and water quality test&temp. All good;when I noticed a group of fry(10)in the frogbit roots. So I quickly scooped them out with a plastic tub and floated them in my nursery tank.
The only fish in the tank are 10 otocinclus vittatus and 10 C.Robinae and 1 loach.
The day before my robinae arrived I removed 4 breeding C.Paleatus(about a week ago).... The babies are almost black in colour accept their eyes. The corys laid eggs on the glass or oak leaves, but I noticed 3 groups of 3-6 eggs on the Valis grass(thinking they were stray cory eggs took no notice). So the conclusion I've come to is theyre Oto fry.Is this possible?
