Amazon Biotope

Hi,

I want to make a Amazon biotope tank. My tank size 85x40x55h. I have corydoras pandax4, cory trilitianusx 20, tetrax20,angel fish x5 and L15,Ancistrus cirrhosus.

But have any problem. I want to use silis gravel but which color?

light brown 1-2 mm or white color 0,5 mm? I didnt choose.

Gravel is not a natural substrate for Corydoradinae Catfish, the best choice would be sand.

Corys do need sand as the substrate and brown is more natural then white. The 1-2 mm grain size seems ok as long as the grains are round (no sharp edges) - the 0.5 mm size may pack too tightly. only a thin layer is really needed, so if you wanted to root plants yo may have to think of other ways to accomodate them
