Post by Coryologist »

Greetings.

This message is to inform you of the following:

1. The podcast of Mark Denaro's July 4th talk on Bettas and the IBC has been posted at: http://www.aquaradio.net/pages/podcasts ... 04_09.html

If you experience any difficulty in listening to the podcast, please contact me directly. Please do not bother Mark over any technical issue, as he is not able to lend you any assistance. I can be reached at [email protected].

2. The show for Saturday, July 11th has been taped and is in the can. It features Mr. Charley Grimes. Charley is well-known in the hobby and has been an avid aquarist since the age of 14. He currently maintains well over 100 tanks and is actively working with small barbs, killies, native fishes, rainbow fishes, various Badis species, as well as gobys and gudgeons. He currently leads his local club's Breeders Award Program.

He is a member of the Circle City Aquarium Club in Indianapolis as well as the AKA, the ALA and a local killie group. He has given talks at fish clubs and shows around the country.

Charley has had the opportunity to collect native fish all over the Midwest and SE USA. He has traveled to Brazil, three times on collecting expeditions and on one collecting trip to Cuatro Cineagus, in Mexico where he was able to indulge his other passion, photography.

Charley's talk will cover rainbow fishes and native fishes. Additionally he has promised to return to do an entire show, devoted to killies.

You do not want to miss this program, It was informative, entertaining and Charley's wonderful personality and love of the hobby shone through. You will enjoy this show.

The show will air on Saturday at 9 AM. 12 PM, 3 PM, 7 PM and 10 PM. Sunday at 10 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM, and 9 PM. The show runs around an hour. The Station page can be found at: http://www.live365.com/stations/theamol

P.S. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Mark Denaro for an outstanding program last week. He has set the bar high for all future programs.

P.P.S. ADVANCE NOTICE: Dr. Stephan Tanner will be our guest on Saturday, July 18th. He will be speaking exclusively on H.R. Bill 669. More detailed information on Dr. Tanner and the topic will be available in the next few days.
I used to be schizophrenic, but we're OK now. At least that's what my dog is always telling me!
