Was told L76

Post by nvcichlids »

This guy was given to me by a LFS. It is about 2" long. The coloring is a bluish gray with darker spots and orange edged fins (as seen in the photos.) They said it was a L076, but I am not 100% sold. Any other ideas or a confirmation?

I'd agree with drgold - i've seen this species in the uk this year labelled L106 - in fact i posted asking for experiences as when i saw them it struck me it was something i hadn't conciously seen before & they look very nice indeed.

I was thinking L106 as well.
Richard B, what is your experiences with it? They had another one labeled as L76, but it was a solid blueish gray with the orange fins.

Mine loves the Ken's Fish catfish wafers. He eats them like a mad man and loves blood worms. He has yet to touch any veggie matter.

Thanks you guys for the ID'ing!

I didn't get any of them as i wanted to research them first. All of the ones in the store were near enough identical in terms of patterning & orange fin edging - some were a little ligher than others but none had a solid body colour.
