G. gibbiceps

Post by colin »

I have the following in my community tank One G. gibbiceps ( 3 ") , 2 Hoplo cats and 4 small bronze cory's.

All used to get on fine but lately, at mealtimes, the gibby comes out of its cave and lays claim to all the substrata available - bundling every other feeding fish out of the way. Is this unusual ?

Also the gibby eats pellets and flake but lately has been "browsing" on a large piece of bogwood I have in the tank. Does it want wood in its diet and if so is the bogwood ok ?

:? :)
