Edit problems

Post by mokmu »

I have recently been posting long entries and I later find out that I have not edited my work properly. I go to try to edit but I keep coming to a warning that says only the author can edit that particular post or words to that effect. After I click on continue or ok or something like that, I find myself having to login in again. I try this around three times before my editted work is accepted.

Any thoughts on that?

Regards,
Mike D.

There, it happened again. I reply to a post, am told to login. I do so and continue with my reply, I submit. Next window is another login name and password. I login again. It goes back to the same login name and password window. I login for the third time and it goes back to a blank reply page. I've lost my orignial post/reply. I do it all over again and submit again. I am asked my login name and password again before it eventually submits properly. What is going on? Thanks for any suggestions.

I've tried what you've said and still no go. I wrote a long reply again right after I logged on and my f (&*&$g post/reply disappeared. I don't want to keep on replying and not getting to post my damned message. What is going on?

It just keeps on going back to the "log in" page. It seems to be happening morefrequently now. Everytime I even post or reply to anything. I have to log in twice (at the very least) and at the most 4 times. No error messages or anything.

1- I post
2 - I submit
3 - I get the log in page
4 - I log in
5 - I re-write my post on the blank message body
6 - I submit
7 - I get the log in page
8 - I log in again
9 - I re-write my post again on the blank message body
10 - I submit
11 - repeat all of that until I get the page wherein it says that the post was successful

I hope we can get a suggestion as to how we can go about fixing this. To be frank I have tried posting this message 6 times already. Everytime I don't get a successful post, I change that number. For some posts, I have completely given up trying.

Mike D.
