Has Megalodoras irwini had a name change?

Post by Martin S »

Back when I used to keep cats (been a few years now), I had a Megalodoras irwini and a Liosomadoras oncinus. Has the Megalodoras had a name change - I could only find reference to uranoscopus. It looks very similar - is this the same fish?
Are these two species available in the UK? I would love to get back into it keeping cats again, and would definitely love to keep both these species again.
Anyway, been really interesting catching up on all the info (and the huge number of family name changes that seem to have gone on in my absence from the hobby!)
Cheers

Yes, Megalodoras uranoscopus=M. irwini.
