Synodontis ID

I know this is not the best picture, however if you save it to your PC and blow it up you will see the Synodontis catfish behind the Gephyrochromis acei. Just trying to determine the species?

the one in that picture looks like it's near death.....usually they don't lie on their side in broad daylight, but show behaviour like the ones left: crowd together to get some darkness.

hopefully you didn't get the one that's just lying there......

Additionally, what appears to be red discoloration around the vent could be the signs of an internal bacterial infection.

That particular catfish was rushing in to the corner, not lying on its side. That picture was taken four months ago from within a quarantine tank and the catfish is very much alive, healthy and doing well. 8)
