How often appear Parotocinclus sp. Pernambuco or Recife

Post by Caol_ila »

Hi!

On Monday i picked up a Parotocinclus sp. that i think is "Pernambuco" rather than "Recife" cauz it has lines rather than spots. I wonder how often do these show up? It wasnt really cheap but i liked the little guy, hes a bit skinny but eats well so i think hell be allright. He came in with some L75s from Manaus. Im thinking of ordering some LDA25 and see if theres some more with them...
cheers

Hi Christian,

All Parotocinclus i saw with P. jumbo were P. sp. "Recife" = the dotted variant (I guess i have seen several thousands over the years at different importers/LFS's).
