Is this a sun cat or a 2 spot cat?

Post by Connie »

Here are a couple pictures I thought they were mystus cats but were labeled sun cats at the petshop they are a good 4-5 inches long. Sorry for the crappy pictures as these fish are hard to take pictures of because they are so quick.
So are they either Horabagrus brachysoma or Mystus Bimaculatus
Thanks,

It definetly isn't Mystus bimaculatus, which are now rarer then hen's teeth. Probably H. brachysoma.

Definitely Horabagrus brachysoma. Sun cats are the name they are usually sold under.

They are fairly common , now that large-scale commercial breeding of this species is being conducted. And cheap too.
