I got a trio of these high / long finned and long tailed cories..... and they were ID'd as Corydorus sp. cf. steindachneri
Is the name correct? ANy common names for them??

I guess creating a form of these isn't pretty good at all, esp for the natural ones....
But since I got them, they'd still get the care and love anyway.... hehehehe... I didn't know that they were such a mutated form anyway... Such long wavy fins, to a newbie like me, they're something really different...

Can't blame you for taking it as a new species; there's a 'paleatus-look-a-like' where the males have very long fins indeed: Corydoras macropterus. The tailfin however is short. They look a bit like your fish, but more "in proportion" as one might say.
