WTF?

after being corrected just a minure ago -on a DUTCH forum, of all places  - about me using Liposarcus pardalis for common Pleco.....

Can ANYbody tell me what happened?
i was getting used to "Pterygoplichthys" being a synonym, and hence not the right name for Commons, Gibby's and the like, and now I've seen the catelog????

someone explain how and why?
