ID my pleco.. what is he?

ID my pleco.. what is he?

I have had this pleco for years.. he is about 10" now and beautiful but I have never known exactly what kind of pleco he is. I took some pics with and without flash. He is very dark, almost zebralike pattern but no white (its more like black and light brown).

Any ideas?
