LFS has an unknown name labeled

Post by JdubsVW »

My LFS has some cories that I have identified as C. leucomelas but they have them labeled as C. wotia or something like that and I have never heard of them and cant find them on Ian's site of on the Cat-elog under this name. Has anyone heard of this species ? I m curious as to where they came up with this name as it seems as though they just pulled it out of thin air :?

If my memory serves me correctly C. wotroi was a synonym of C. brevirostris formally known as C. melanistius brevirostris.
