Flash Pleco
Flash Pleco
Found this fish in a tropical fish shop A Flash Pleco. Boy is he or she a beauty when I see it. It always hides in a cave. I do have a piece of wood in the tank. I also feed sinking pellets. Does this fish hang on the side of the tank and eat algae? I have looked at the tank when the lights are off and still don't see him. I move the cave and he swims right out. He is in a community tank with small angels and red danos 30 gal tank. Change 25% of the water 10-14 days. Tanks has been cycled for many months.Had the room painted. Even than It was up for 6 years. Also lots of live plants. Any info on this guy would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Flash Pleco
Pictures?
Not much of an algae eater and no, it won't hang out on the glass much.
They'll take algae wafers, live blackworms, shrimp pellets, wood and lots of fresh veggies. Mine hides a lot.
Good luck,
Eric
