I haven't been able to identify this one. Can anyone help me out here?
It lives together with a L083 Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps and is definitely not the same species (or even genus) though it does resemble it in terms of the design of the spots. This one is now 20-22cm and will probably not grow to be much bigger in size. My guess it might grow to be 27cm at most.
My first thought was in the direction of Peckoltia sp., but this one has definite spiky ridges down the side. I'm tempted towards L021 Liposarcus pardalis or as it matches many of it's characteristics, but I don't really think this is it.
I'll keep my camera at the ready and try to make some more pictures. So far this fish is very difficult for me to take a decent picture of.[/img]
And another...
